Retail fit out and shop refurbishment
From strip out to handover, phased and out of hours so your store keeps trading.
A refit that fits the store
Not every store needs a full refit. We price the level that fits the brief and the budget, and we will tell you if a lighter option would do the job.
Whether it is a new store or a refurbishment of a trading one, the fixtures are made by us and fitted by our own team.
Five levels of refit
01 / Refresh
Typically completed over a few nights, with the store trading by day.
02 / Light refit
A step up from a refresh, and it may include a new floor.
03 / Light plus refit
Between a light refit and a full refit.
04 / Full refit
The complete job, from strip out to handover, phased around your trading hours when the store stays open.
05 / Day-to-day works
Display unit replacements and small call-outs. Often a few hundred pounds, turned around quickly because we make the parts ourselves.
Keeping the store trading
Night and out-of-hours working
A refresh is typically completed over four nights. Larger refits are phased so areas are handed back each morning.
Phased by area
Fixtures arrive finished from the workshop, so each phase is a fit, not a build on site.
Dates we keep
Because we make everything ourselves, the programme does not depend on a subcontractor’s diary.
What a fit out includes
- Strip out through to handover
- New flooring (light refit and above)
- Counters, till points and display fixtures
- Wall bays, gondolas and feature panelling
- Snagging before handover
Your part: tell us the hours the store can give us, who signs off each phase and where deliveries can go.
From survey to handover
01 / Survey
We measure the store or the room, agree what needs to change and the dates you are working to.
02 / Drawings and price
You get drawings, a specification and a clear price. Supply-only clients send us their drawings instead.
03 / Made in Oadby
Everything is built, finished and checked in our own joinery workshop.
04 / Fitted and handed over
Our team installs, often out of hours, and closes the snag list before leaving.
A few good questions
How long does a shop refit take?
A refresh is typically four nights. Light and full refits depend on the size of the store and how much of it stays open. We give you a programme with the quote.
Do we need to close?
Usually not. Most of our work is phased or done out of hours.
Can you match our existing store format?
Yes. For rollouts we build to your format and keep it consistent across sites.
Do you handle the whole project?
We manufacture and install the joinery and fixtures and manage the programme.
Retail fit out projects.
Recent refits, with the before and after on each one.
Have a store in mind?
Send drawings and programme dates if you have them and we will come back with a price.
